The 2017 Not in our community Youth Summit, was held at Hessle High School ahead to the national awareness day. Students from across the Humber took part in activities, watched live performances and made plans for activities in their own schools.
Not in our community took part in the Humberside Police Night Challenge in 2017. This year's theme was grooming and sexual exploitation so it was a great opportunity for us to work with the police and partners to create a narrative about a girl called Maisie who was groomed online and went missing. 150 young people undertook the challenge, including a VERY long walk through the night to identify clues and understand more about about sexual exploitation as well as build up positive relationships with the police force.

Under his spell, things take a darker turn and Jane's life becomes a living nightmare. The film also features a documentary with appearances from senior figures in education, health, policing and leading charities that provide support for victims.
